Description
Single DTF Transfers for Custom Orders and Small Runs
Single transfers are for when you need one design, a specific size, and no wasted film. Perfect for custom client orders, replacement prints, small-batch production, and testing a new design before committing to a full gang sheet.
Select your size. Upload your design. That's the order.
Every single transfer uses the same in-house production process as our gang sheets. Same calibrated settings. Same test print policy for new artwork. Same hot peel film, packaged for safe transit.
Size Options
Sizes range from 2"×2" to custom dimensions up to 21.5"×21.77". Pricing starts at $0.99. Select the size closest to your artwork dimensions and upload your file at checkout.
Common sizes for apparel decoration:
- 3×3 / 4×4 — Chest pocket, small logo, sleeve print
- 5×5 / 6×6 — Standard left chest, hat logo
- 8×8 / 10×10 — Full chest, back yoke
- 12×12 / 12×14 — Full front, full back standard
- 12×16 / larger — Oversized front print, full back
When Single Transfers Make Sense
- Client custom orders with one design per garment
- Testing a design before ordering a gang sheet
- Fulfilling single-piece Etsy orders cost-effectively
- Replacement prints for a damaged transfer
- Small seasonal runs where gang sheet volume is not justified
If you have three or more designs, a gang sheet is more cost-efficient.

Pressing instructions
DTF Pressing Instructions
Equipment: Heat press recommended.
- Pre-press garment: 5–10 seconds to remove moisture and flatten fibers.
- Set press: 300–320°F (149–160°C). Medium to firm pressure.
- Press transfer: 10–15 seconds.
- Peel: Follow the film’s behavior.
— Hot peel: Peel immediately while hot.
— Cold peel: Let it cool fully, then peel. - Finish press (recommended): Cover with parchment or a finishing sheet.
Press 5–10 seconds. Improves durability and reduces edge lift.
Notes for clean results
- Use a smooth platen and even pressure across the image.
- Avoid steam. Moisture kills adhesion.
- Textured garments may need slightly more pressure or a longer finish press.
If you see issues
- Edges lifting: More pressure, add finish press, or increase time slightly.
- Poor adhesion: Increase pressure, confirm temp accuracy, and pre-press longer.
- Scorching/dye migration: Lower temp, shorten time, use a protective cover sheet.
Built for real press conditions. Process-first. No shortcuts.
