Pressing Instructions

For Best Results, Follow These Steps.

Whether you're pressing on cotton or polyester, the key to a perfect transfer is the right time, temperature, and pressure. Below are our recommended settings to ensure vibrant, durable results.

Cotton
Polyester

For 100% Cotton or Cotton Blends

Step-by-Step Pressing Instructions:

  • Pre-Press
    - 10 seconds at 315°F
    - Medium pressure
    - Purpose: Remove moisture and flatten the surface

  • First Press (Transfer Application)
    - 12–15 seconds at 315°F
    - Medium to firm pressure
    - Use a heat press (not a home iron)

 

  • Cool Down
    - Let the transfer cool completely before peeling the film
  • Final Press (Seal Press)
    - 12–15 seconds at 315°F
    - Cover with parchment or finishing sheet
    - Medium pressure

For 100% Polyester or Sublimated Garments

Adjust for Heat Sensitivity:

Pre-Press

- 5 seconds at 285–290°F
- Light to medium pressure

  • First Press

- 10–12 seconds at 285–290°F
- Light to medium pressure

  • Cool Down

- Let fully cool before peeling

  • Final Press

- 10 seconds with parchment
- Light pressure

Pro Tips

  • Always test with a scrap or sample shirt if it’s your first time pressing a new garment type.
  • Avoid pressing over seams or collars — stick to flat, even areas.
  • Use a pressing pillow for hoodies, zippers, or uneven surfaces.
